It's hard to believe that our wedding day was six years ago already, yet at the same time it seems so long ago. There was a feeling of contentment, a feeling of peace, a feeling of complete love that day. During the ceremony it was as if Cody and I were the only ones there. Everyone and everything else didn't exist. It was just us.
So many things have changed since that day six years ago. Jobs, money, people, things have come and gone, yet our love remains the same if not stronger. Through the happy the sad, the joy the sorrow, the ups the downs, the rights the wrongs, Cody and I have stuck through it all together, facing it all together, learning together and always working at things together.
I am thankful for this wonderful loving husband and father that provides so completely for me and now our son. I wonder how I got so lucky? I thank God for Cody every day. He has changed my life in every way. He's my rock, my love, my confidant, my best friend, he's my everything.
Here's to celebrating six years of marriage! Here's to many, many more years together. There is so much to come and of course we'll do it together as always.
