Dear Jaxon

Dear Jaxon -

Where have the past five months gone? Right before my very own eyes I watch as you grow more and more everyday. I don't think it's possible for you to be loved by us anymore. You fascinate me at how you are developing your very own personality already! You are definitely stubborn, that is for sure. I don't think you had a chance of escaping that with us as your parents. Sorry my love!

You have been so cranky lately because you have started teething. This is a dreaded process, for sure! UGH! We have started you on solids. For sure you love sweet potatoes. Now you keep playing games on me. One day you seem to love the peas or peaches and the next day you won't eat them. Are you really going to be this stubborn? This is karma for the way I treated my mother, right? Oh boy, we are in for a long haul if it is.

You want to be so independent already. You roll back to front and then you don't know what to do and throw a fit! You have just learned that you can scream or rather screech. Whoa, you go to town when you get started on that! You are always blabbing away, drooling, or kicking. You have just realized that there is a 135 lb dog in the house. I'm not quite sure if you really know what it is, just that it's big and that we call it Tucker. You still love bathtime and that makes me so happy! Water baby, yay! I can see us at the waterpark already. Woo Hoo!

You still have the blondest of blonde hair and it's just getting longer and longer. I can't tell if it's going to curl. Or maybe you will just need a haircut at a very young age? I'm still at a loss at who you look like. All I know is you have your daddy's big ears and both of our baby blue eyes. And your eyes get almost white when you cry or when you are really tired just like mine do.

Mommy is trying very hard to "cut the umbilical cord" and put you in your own room at night. I just love having you by me still at night, I admit it, It's my fault. :-( You are still mostly sleeping in the swing and you are going to be outgrowing that anyday. I swear if you grow any longer, it's bye bye swing. And, mommy will cry!

You are up to date on your vaccines. You are tall and skinny. Just like the daddy and mommy! Right now you love to watch Baby Einstein. You love the green puppet the most. Your favorite toy is Sophie the teether. Yay, mommy invested her money well!

Just know we always love you Jaxon.

Love, Mommy

Yummy .. Sweet Potatoes!
Sophie!
