And so it came and hit our household in it's evil, full forced self. The. Flu. Bug.
It hit and it hit hard. First Jaxon and then to the mommy and daddy. It literally came out of nowhere and slammed us. It lasted only about 48 hours, but it sure seemed longer than that. The aches and pains, headaches, the chills and fever, the puking, and well, all the other delights of the flu. We had a little bit of it all around here.
I have to give a HUGE thanks to my sister (Aunty Amy) for helping us through. She took Jaxon for the day on Wednesday and let Cody and I just rest. It was the first time since Jaxon was born that Cody and I had been alone together. We slept, puked, and sweated. Fun times, huh? Gee Wiz .. Talk about some wonderful husband and wife quality time. Yeek!
