Today you are 9 months old .. Oh my! You have been on the outside world as long as you were in my tummy. Incredible the way time goes on so fast. It's fun to watch you grow and become your own little person, but it's hard on me when it goes so very, very fast.
Crawling .. Oh goodness. All you want to do is crawl and you just can't seem to figure it out. You get on your hands and knees and then, bam, you fall to your stomach and flounder like a little fishy. A frustrated little fishy at that! But boy can you roll. It's AMAZING how well you get around by rolling. You are here then there and everywhere!
You love to walk with help and stand, which you can do on your own when you hold on to something or someone. And, you've mastered the art of laying to sitting! You keep me busy these days.
You love to take baths in the big tub now. You splish and splash. I can't wait to take you out to the water park. I have a feeling you are going to love it!
You are eating three full meals a day now, along with 4-5 bottles. Also, you eat bits and pieces of our dinners. You just got a new highchair and you seem to like it quite well. We are stuck in a rut with you waking up in the night and wanting a bottle still.
Sleeping .. Well, it's going well, except you are co-sleeping with us. It's my fault. I love having you next to me at night. I need to get you in your crib. Naughty mommy! I promise over the next month I will try much, much harder.
You love to play with your toys. You absolutely love music. You sway back and forth. It is SO CUTE! You love to clap your hands in delight. You love to play silly games with daddy.
Teething .. UGH! You will chew on whatever you can. Those darn top teeth just won't make their appearance! Oh how I wish they would. They are bothering you a lot! And, I don't like to see you in pain and especially cranky! You still only have your two bottom teeth.
You just got your new convertible car seat. Such a big boy you are! It didn't take us too long to figure out how to get it fitted in the car. Mommy put away your baby car seat and also your bumbo. I've also been putting away more clothes since Spring is coming.
You still won't drink out of a sippy cup. I will keep trying to find just the right one. And, you are still my paci baby. You and your cute noises you make.
