March Madness!

March came and went so fast! We enjoyed almost two full weeks of 70 degree weather! Flowers were already in full bloom, in Iowa, in early Spring! Crazy!

Bailey celebrated his eighth birthday and I celebrated mine too, of course! We went to the Play Station and let the kiddos run around and play for the afternoon. They had a great time, that's for sure!

We made our second annual trip to The Mall of America for our Midwest Bump Mom's get together. Jaxon and I had a blast! On Friday we went to the mall and Ikea amd later we went out to eat with everyone. It was crazy with five toddlers! We then went swimming, even though the pool was freezing! Although, all the kiddos did try it out. I was actually surprised at how much they loved the water! On Saturday we spent the day at the mall .. Seven moms, some spouses, my sister, seven toddlers and a baby! Whew! We let the kids play in Lego Land, we walked around some and ate lunch. The mall was SO busy and hot that we decided to leave early. That night we had a pizza party at Christina's home. It was beautiful outside! The kids ran and ran around the backyard. I couldn't believe we were sitting outside in March in Minnesota! It was even a bit warm! I had such a wonderful time and I can't wait to meet up with everyone again!

Jaxon had his first visit at the barber shop. He looks like such a little man with his big boy haircut! He's just so darn handsome .. I'm not biased or anything. He He!

Jaxon loves his cousin Bailey. The two of them just giggle away when they are together. Jaxon gets so excited when Bailey comes to visit. They play and rough house. It melts my heart watching the two of them together .. I am truly blessed!

I can't believe how fast Jaxon is growing up. I am trying to make as many memories as I can with him. He makes me smile and melts my heart all of the time. He has such a comassionate and loving soul, but boy is he stubborn!

He gives air kisses and says, "MmmmMaaa!" It's so darn cute! He learned a naughty word recently .. It rythmes with hit. Yes, I take full credit for this mommy fail. Whoops! He is tolerating teething fairly well. He's still sleeping in his crib, which he is about to outgrow (OH NO!), and he sleeps through the night at least four times a week. Those nights are a blessing for everyone! He loves bathtime and just adores playing outside. He usually cries when we have to come back inside. He's such a little explorer .. So, so curious! Sigh .. He's just growing up way too fast. It's awesome and exciting, yet, so very, very bittersweet!

Our upcoming goal is taking away "the binks." I'm going to hold out on that for just a bit longer! I am not looking forward to that day! Who knows? Maybe it will go easier than we think! I sure hope so.

I am so thankful for my little family. They bring me so much joy, happiness and unconditional love. Everyday is truly a blessing. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!
