Growing Up

As we laid in bed together staring into each other's eyes, my heart melted, and I felt loved .. A special kind of love. One that only a child can give to their parent .. Their mommy. I held his little hand in mine and he gently rubbed my cheek and smiled at me.

How did I get this lucky? I couldn't love him more .. Even if I tried. How I can love someone this much .. I don't know how it's possible. He owns every piece of my heart.

As his second birthday nears, the days become so bittersweet. He's growing into such a little person .. Full of personality .. Becoming his own self right in front of my eyes.

This mommy is blessed! I love you my little man.
