A Fishing Success!

We have been doing some fishing this Summer, and much to my chagrin, I haven't been able to catch a fish .. Not one single fish! I have been SO frustrated.

I asked Cody to put a bobber and worm on my pole, I wanted to fish the old fashioned way! I just knew I would catch something, anything! And then ..

Cody caught a fish. Le Sigh ..

We continued to fish on. OH.MY.GOSH. I snagged a fish. And then, it ate my worm and got away. Really? More sighs ..

Jaxon took on a supervising role.

Then Cody got another fish and he handed me the pole and said, "It's all yours!" The battle began. I was determined to reel in this fish and make my first catch of the season.

Ta Da!

 I got me a cat fish!

It put up quite a fight for being so little!

I tried really hard to get a fish on my pole, but it just wasn't happening. So, instead, I took some cute pictures of my boys!

Definitely a successful fishing trip in my opinion! We had fun, our little family of three. Lots of laughter and love! I am blessed.
