My two year old, well, he's amazing and beautiful, caring and loving .. And, he is my world. My whole entire world. Everyday he changes and grows so much. I have finally resigned myself to the fact that there is just no way to stop this. Sigh ..
He sure loves his daddy, but he sure is a mommy's boy. In fact, I think his favorite word is, "Mommy!" I don't mind it a bit.
He's happy and healthy. What more could a mommy ask for? He just had his two year well check-up. He's so tall! Here are his stats:
He is in LOVE with Thomas The Train. "Thomas, Thomas, Thomas!" He also loves music and is always dancing around.
He would rather sleep with me, but he has been spending more and more nights in his big boy bed. He's not always happy at first, but he eventually settles down to sleep. He sleeps through the night and usually wakes up for the day between 7-7:30ish. He still usually takes a nap everyday, but not always, and they seem to vary in time and duration.
He loves bath time, especially when he can jump in with daddy or mommy. He loves to swim like a fish.
His eating has gotten much, much better. He'll eat meat now! Not at every meal, but at least he doesn't always spit it out. His favorite food is cereal. I think he would eat it for every meal and snack if he could!
His speech is improving, but he's still not where he should be at his age. We will be going in for a speech evaluation soon. I'm prettty nervous about this. But, the pedi said that they will teach me techniques to use at home and that his vocabulary should start to bloom in time.
My two year old is such a blessing. He makes every day worth it! He fills my heart to the max. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing son.
