Here we are already .. At the six month of pregnancy! Although it feels like I've been pregnant forever, at the same time, it feels like it's going so fast. Does that even make sense?
Baby has started to really move around in there. Her kicks and jabs can be felt from the outside now and sometimes you can even see my stomach moving. I LOVE THIS FEELING! It is absolutely my most favorite part of pregnancy .. EVER! I loved it with Jaxon, and I'm loving it with Olivia.
The heartburn has really started up - Tums and Zantac are now my new best friends. My tummy has really bumped out. Baby is getting big already .. Pushing away at my lungs and bladder. And, my stomach feels all squished. Some days eating is impossible.
I'm doing pretty darn good emotionally - That makes me so happy. Sleeping is another story. Between the discomfort and the weird dreams, sleep at night doesn't come too easily. I'm still tired a lot, but I definitely have more energy than I did early on in this pregnancy.
Nesting has kicked into high gear! I have so much to do before baby arrives. Closets to clean and organize, I need to deep clean the bathroom and kitchen. And, then there's the big job of swapping bedrooms. We have decided to give Jaxon the smaller room and take the larger room so Olivia can sleep in with us for about a year.
I got a bag full of baby girl clothes from a friend. We did a clothes swap. I gave her some baby boy clothes and she gave me some girl ones. It's so weird to see all of the pink - Exciting though!
I fill out my pre-admission paperwork this month! Wow, I got that form at my eight week appointment and now it's time to get it sent in. I'm glad I still have a few months to prepare for baby and this big change that is coming our way. I feel very blessed and scared. A lot of emotions ..
