Jaxon before our very eyes is growing up so very, very fast. It's so bittersweet to watch him grow. It's amazing, exciting and fun to watch him as he becomes such a little person already. Yet, it goes so fast .. So very fast. This is such a fun age, I wish I could freeze time, if only for awhile. His little personality is blooming right before our very eyes.
Everyday I find myself thinking, "How is it possible to love someone this much?" Yet I do, and somehow I find myself falling more and more in love everday. It's such a contentment and peace that my heart has never felt.
At our last pediatrician appointment at 6 1/2 months Jaxon received the last of his vaccines (thank goodness!), and the pedi said he's right on track in the developmental stages. He called him our "bean" because he's such a long and skinny babe! After all the visits to the pediatrician we don't have to go back, unless needed, until Jaxon is 18 months! When the nurse said that I was trying to imagine just how big he would be by then! Oh my!
I haven't posted his stats from birth until six months so I wanted to share Jaxon's baby steps during these past months.
- Birth - 7 lbs 15 oz, 21 1/2 inches.
- 2 Weeks - 8 lbs 5.5 oz, 21 3/4 inches.
- 4 Months - 15 lbs 0 oz, 26 1/2 inches.
- 6 Months - 17 lbs 5 oz, 28 inches.
