He is eating solids. He mainly eats the bananas, peas, and squash right now. It's definitely time to introduce more of a variety. He eats 6 oz bottles about every 3 hours. Also, I'm going to be giving him juice/water so I need to find the perfect sippy cup. Can you believe that is actually something that can be frustrating to do?
Jaxon is our little roller. He rolls from one end of the room to another. I'm starting to wonder if he's just going to skip crawling! We've been practicing with him to stand and use those legs! Although, I am in NO RUSH for him to start walking. He can take his time on that!
His two bottom teeth have cut through and they are sharp! Wowza .. I got my finger bit and I couldn't believe how much it hurt. I think his top teeth are going to be coming in shortly. His top gums are very sensitive and swollen. Who knows, it could still be awhile. I just know teething bites, pun intended, and I feel so bad that he's in such pain.
Jaxon has been sleeping much better at night. It's a very nice and welcomed change. A lot of the time he'll sleep with us. I know I shouldn't have started that, but he's only going to be little for so long and I love having him close. He still takes a morning and afternoon nap, they just aren't as long as they use to be. Also, we are retiring the swing. I will forever be greatful for the swing!
Overall Jaxon is just a pretty content and happy baby. He likes to study people and things. He's been doing better at playing by himself also. He loves toys that make music and sound. He has seperation anxiety right now, but that's just a stage that babies go through. I think also it could be because he spends most of his time with me. He's a mommy's boy right now. He's also sitting up great and his hair is getting so curly! He also loves to clap his hands. It's so cute! We just love him so much!
