Meet The Lacher's: Blessed

I thank God for a new friend who simply invited us to a church service .. No strings attached. What a beautiful and uplifting hour it was. I found myself crying, yet feeling a peace that only God can provide at the same time. I have fallen in love with this church .. Prairie Lakes. A new place to call home!

I feel such a change in myself and find myself being softer with people. I take the time to smile at a stranger or hold a door open for an elderly. I give a compassionate look to a mother with a new crying baby .. Even a positive affirmation or a positive thought, if I can. I hold my baby tighter and savor every hug and kiss to the core. My marriage feels stronger and I love this man more deeply that provides for our family.

I've found hope again. Hope that God is in control and when something is too big, I can give it to him freely .. Knowing, he will take the reigns. My soul feels peace and at rest with this life .. Believing that God has something magical in store for us.

I've always considered myself a holy person .. I just never knew that my walk with God could be this beautiful. That I can take the time each day to pray .. Prayer for hope and love, patience and strength .. A simple thank you to God for being on my side and somehow getting us through the storms in life. And, a praise for the wonderful times.

God is good, all the time! If he brings you to it .. He will bring you through it. A - Mazing!
